UPDATE LOG

As of 31 March 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​​​

• At sign up, the information required is the minimum required to create a profile. Now, a profile will be created upon registration, and additional information can be added in the Account Settings.

As of 17 March 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​​​

• Added a missing translation for “Tag user without profile” in the user selector.

• Fixed the view counter: now, a view is registered when opening the project modal instead of when playing the video.

• After submitting a record to the CAT, the page now refreshes, and the form data is cleared.

• Various UI improvements in the inbox: it now adapts better to different screen sizes, and unnecessary white space has been removed.

• Updated the tabs in the Discover and Search pages:

  • Removed the “Tools” and “Genres” tabs.

  • The “Projects” tab now includes genre-based filtering.

  • There is also an option to view all projects without genre filters.

• Investigated an issue preventing users from unpinning projects. We found that in some cases, a user had a project pinned that belonged to another user. This shouldn’t happen, so we removed those incorrectly pinned projects to resolve the issue.

As of 12 March 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​​​

• New user interface for editing series projects. New features include:

  • Individual season editing​

  • Rearranging episodes

  • Easily add seasons and episodes

• You can now navigate to a person's profile by clicking on their profile picture in your notifications.

• You may now credit the same person twice within a series, on multiple episodes.

As of 10 February 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​​​

• Added the option to search all genres in the search by genre function. It is the default selected option when loading the page.

• Fixed the bug that if you scrolled on a page and then changed to another page it did not return to the top of the page.

• Text box in the inbox now has a maximum height, preventing it from infinitely increasing with more text.

• Adjusted the listed positions in the CAT.

• Fixed the bug where text pasted into the inbox retained the format of where it originated. It now matches the format of the default text on the inbox.

As of 07 February 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​​​

• Fixed a bug with projects in the trash section of the control panel (the “pin projects” menu was appearing in the trash, but it no longer does).

• Fixed a bug when searching for projects by genre (the page now only loads new projects that contain the selected genre).

• Fixed a bug when searching for projects in general (private projects no longer appear—only public ones are shown now).

As of 21 January 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​

• The “All Projects” component was created and implemented within the dashboard, allowing users to view all types of projects simultaneously.

• The functionality to share series episodes via links was completed; it now includes the season to which the episode belongs.

• Visual changes were made to the “Edit Series and Seasons” component.

• Added the ability to add seasons within the “Edit a Series” section.

As of 13 January 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​

• Visual changes to the send button: it now appears outside the text box and stays at the bottom of the input section.

• The Following and Followers pages were created for all profiles.

• The password recovery URL was renamed to ‘/reset-password-request’.

• Series episodes can now be shared via URLs.

As of 2 January 2025, the following changes have been made to the site:​

• The input component within the inbox now dynamically adjusts its size based on the amount of text written.

• The translation error in the alert modal has been fixed.

• A new section has been added to account settings to manage the type of user account.

• Added functionality to unpin projects on the profile page.

• Project titles are now displayed on project cards. This can be seen in both the discover section and user profiles.

• Fixed a visual bug with sliders on the search all and profile pages where the paginator was positioned above the projects.

As of 16 Dec 2024, the following changes have been made to the site:​

• The Crew Allocation Tool (CAT) has been updated to include the option of matching compatability with a given list of users.

  • CAT now initially asks to conduct a search on all users or a given list of users

  • Inputing usernames on the text area returns a list of viable users that exist within the site

  • A modal popup was created to give the user feedback on the  list inputed. Viable users who have signed up for the CAT will appear on the modal.

  • Whenever no results are found in a CAT search the page will now display that information instead of being empty

As of 29 Nov 2024, the following changes have been made to the site:​

• A user's account type is now visible in the account-settings page under the "general" tab.

• When deleting a file from the multimedia tab, a popup will appear showing all projects that will be affected by the deletion of the multimedia file.

• The number of projects that can be uploaded by a user is now limited by the account type

  • 3 for Basic

  • 20 for Auteur

  • 50 for Pro

• In the case of an account downgrading from Auteur or Pro to Basic, projects will be made Private.

• Projects can now be toggled from Private to Public and vice versa in the control panel by clicking on the small lock icon next to its visibility.
